owned by Carrefour. And though you may not think so, calling 7-Eleven "Japanese firm 7-Eleven" is quite right. 7-Eleven in Japan was originally simply licensed by the American originators, and then became totally managed by the Japanese, who have done it with a highly sophisticated computerized system.
